It has been a positive few days for business, I think. Have spent a fortune this month on getting inventory built up. Did not realize how many suppliers I actually have, but counting mailing supplies, I must have about 10. Still waiting to hear from my new African manufacturer, but as I have sent him no money, am really at no risk. Except heading into my busiest month, would really like inventory to be full. My supplier that I have had for eighteen months, is being uncharacteristically quiet, but I am sure he too is busy. I have no choice but to trust him, as I could drive myself crazy other wise.
Examined the whole Google ads situation, and realized content ads were one third as effective as search ads. And then learned how to adjust down my bids for them. Also adjusted down the bids for search ads. As the cost to conversion is way too high. I would like to keep it down below 5 dollars, as my average sale is probably around 40.
To this end eBay auctions continue to help. Have lowered the price on auctions and this is the busy time for me on eBay any way, can't buy a sale in the fall, so am keeping website traffic up through the auctions. All in all sales continue upward. The race is on, if they climb fast enough to keep my head afloat and my body out of the corporate arena.
